Year 7 and Year 8 boarding entry — typically into UK preparatory schools (Cothill, Caldicott, Dragon, Sunningdale, Summer Fields) — operates on a different rhythm from senior-school boarding and benefits from an advisor who's done the conversation many times.
She's the principal contributor to the boarding-readiness assessment work that Dilek leads. Her conversations with families considering boarding for an 11- or 12-year-old are the longest in our practice — they need to be — and her judgment on whether a specific child is ready, or whether a year of waiting will improve the outcome, is one of the most valuable parts of the advisor service.
Beyond placement, Zeynep manages the family-communications operation: post-placement check-ins, half-term updates, and the relationship with each placed family across the boarding years.
