How matching works, what data we use, and how to read the results.

What does the AI Match score actually measure?

It's a calibrated 0–100 fit score that combines your child's profile (age, curriculum, interests, languages, personality) with the school's verified data and historical fit signals. It is not a quality ranking — a 92-fit boutique school can be a better choice than an 88-fit big-name one.

Does AI replace the advisor call?

No. AI is a sharper first cut — it turns dozens of options into a calibrated shortlist with reasoning. Advisors then walk you through trade-offs that don't show up in data: visit feel, family chemistry, post-graduation networks. Both are free.

Can I redo my AI Match later?

Yes — your match updates automatically when you edit your dashboard profile. Save the schools you want to revisit; new matches run any time you tap 'Refresh' on /match.

Why don't I see school X in my results?

Either it's outside your filter window (curriculum, age, country, budget), or it isn't on the platform yet. Use the search filters on /schools, or ask your advisor — we can usually surface a profile manually.

Who are the advisors?

Senior education professionals with 10+ years of admissions experience. The Istanbul team — Dilek, İzzet, Duygu, Sinem and Zeynep — handles Türkiye and the broader region. Kevin handles UK boarding and university applications from London. Specialists pick up Swiss, Singaporean and North-American placements.

Is the advisor call really free?

Yes. The first 30-minute consultation is free. Ongoing advisor support is also free for families on the platform — we get paid by partner schools, not by you.

How quickly do advisors reply?

We aim to respond within 4 business hours during the Istanbul work week (Mon–Fri 09:00–18:00 TRT). Out-of-hours messages typically get a reply the next morning.

Can I work with a specific advisor?

Yes — you can request anyone you've already spoken to, or browse advisors on /about and request a specialist by region or pathway.

Applications & deadlines

Once you've chosen schools, what happens next.

Does BestPeopleDo handle the actual application?

We don't submit applications on your behalf, but we provide a checklist, document tracker, and deadline reminders inside your dashboard. Your advisor reviews drafts and helps with timing.

What if I miss a deadline?

Most schools accept late applications with a brief note from us — we have direct admissions contacts. Your advisor will call the school the same day if you flag it in time.

Can I track multiple students?

Today the dashboard supports one student per parent account. Multi-student support is on the roadmap for 2026 — message your advisor and we'll set up a second tracker manually in the meantime.

Billing & cost

What costs what — for parents and for schools.

Does BestPeopleDo cost anything for parents?

No. AI Match, advisor calls, the dashboard, comparison tools — all free for parents. We earn revenue from partner schools that subscribe to Featured or Network tiers.

Why are some schools labelled 'Featured'?

Featured schools subscribe to a higher tier and get a small AI Match boost (with a visible badge and footnote on every result). They appear because they fit, not because they paid — the boost only ever surfaces schools whose data already qualifies.

Do you take a placement fee from schools when my child enrols?

No. We avoid per-enrolment commission entirely because it would bias which schools we recommend. Schools pay a flat subscription regardless of outcomes.

Privacy & data

What we collect, what we share, and what we never do.

Is my child's profile shared with schools automatically?

No. Schools only see your profile when you explicitly opt in to introduce yourself — usually by tapping 'Connect with school' or accepting a match invitation. AI Match results are private to your dashboard until you act on them.

Do you sell parent data?

No, ever. Parent and student data is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties beyond the schools you explicitly introduce yourself to.

Where is my data hosted?

EU-region cloud (eu-central-1). For network customers we offer EU, UK, US, or in-country data residency on request.

Can I delete my account?

Yes — message hello@bestpeopledo.com and we'll erase your account and all linked data within 7 days. We confirm in writing once it's done.

I'm signed in — where are my saved schools?

Top-right of every page → Dashboard → Saved schools. You can also reach saved schools directly at /dashboard/saved.

I tried the 'Demo' button on the sign-in page. Is that real?

Yes — it provisions a demo account so you can explore the dashboard with sample data. You can edit your profile and the rest will follow.

Can multiple family members share an account?

Today, accounts are per-parent. Family member invites are on the Sprint 4 roadmap; in the meantime we recommend forwarding the comparison view from /dashboard/compare.
