Dilek leads BestPeopleDo's advisor practice from our Istanbul HQ. Before co-founding the company she spent a decade as a senior admissions consultant working with Turkish, Russian, and Gulf-region families on placements into UK, Swiss, and US independent schools — particularly the major boarding schools where the registration timelines and admissions logic are not obvious to families coming from a national-curriculum background.
Her placement work has covered every entry point from Year 7 prep boarding through to sixth-form IB and A-Level entries. She has placed students at most of the schools BestPeopleDo lists in our top tier — including Aiglon, Le Rosey, Sevenoaks, Charterhouse, Wellington, Branksome Hall, and Phillips Academy. The consistent thread in her practice: families who come back two and three years later for siblings, because the first placement worked.
Dilek runs the Istanbul advisor team — herself plus İzzet, Duygu, Sinem, and the two Zeynep'ler — covering Türkiye and the broader region from our Ataşehir HQ and Kadıköy branch. She personally handles the first conversation with most new families, then routes the placement to whichever advisor on the team has the strongest fit for the destination region.
Outside BestPeopleDo, Dilek is a regular contributor to Turkish education publications and speaks at international school admissions conferences. Her writing on boarding-readiness assessment for younger children appears on the BestPeopleDo Insights blog and reflects the operational logic she teaches the rest of the advisor team.
