MPW London — Mander Portman Woodward — was founded in 1973 by Rob de Munnik (later joined by James Mendaro Phipps and Mark Waldron) as a specialist sixth-form college providing intensive A-Level preparation, particularly for retakes and one-year preparation programmes. The school is one of the leading UK "crammer" sixth-form colleges, particularly distinguished for its medical-schools preparation programme.
